Went there to use the pool so this review does not reflect conditions in the gym. The women's changing rooms are filthy. The floor hasn't been cleaned properly for a while as is clear from the lighter colour under the benches. Clearly no cleaning is done on a regular basis during the day, judging from the amount of hair, rubbish (including panty liners) on the floor. The pool area itself is clean. Staff are rude. The person on the desk just about acknowledged my existence enough to take my payment. When I told about the state of the changing rooms when I was leaving, they just turned away and ignored me. I think it's a rip-off to charge for the use of lockers! You have to buy tokens at 30p each, which are not returned.

Staff friendly and approachable. Spa facilities are not in service apart from Sauna. Small and crowded as only one. First time there and will go again to try the Gym. Not fazed by current out of service facilities. But it would be nice if it was all up and running.

I go here most of the time for swimming and also for sauna but I was not happy with the changing rooms they are very dirty

I called up before hand wanting to use the jacuzzi. The person on the phone was very helpful and helped me book myself and my partners spa and sauna session, for their birthday. On arrival we were greeted well and the facilities looked lovely. However the jacuzzi was very clearly not in use, which the phone operator did not mention. We were dissapointed and spoke to a happy friendly guy that said we could swim, but once we got in were getting death stares from a gingery/blonde young lady (a lifeguard). She approached us very rudely, shouting at us, telling us we must be lying about our intentions to use the jaccuzi. This made us uncomfortable to the point we moved to a different part of the centre but we were still very aware of her giving us dirty looks. Unfortunately due that lifeguard we will not be returning.

As you'd expect from a local non-profit leisure centre. Friendly staff, nice instructors. Some classes/instructors are cliquey but overall they're good and the other members are friendly. Gym is OK. Not an insta or tiktok gym, fortunately. Great pool, but more could be made of it like aqua aerobics and HIIT classes. Pool changing room can get very grotty, esp by the afternoon. But I like this place.
