Phoenix Team: you really are World’s Leaders in CPO Phoenix Team!!! You are truly amazing!! I’ve finished in February 2022 my fifteen days CPO training with Phoenix Group and the experience was amazing! The lecturers & practical skills instructors are highly experienced professionals in CPO field on multiple topics, and they are dedicated to their profession and are dedicated to you too, to help you to become the best CPO you can be. Getting trained by the Phoenix Team it’s a unique chance for you and it’s a transformational and life changing experience! You’ll become a better person: more organized, more disciplined, aware of others’ needs – you might learn about empathy too and how your actions or lack of them can impact others! This training helps you to de-focus of yourself, making you aware of what’s happening around you! It’s moving to see how the lecturers & the practical skills instructors are giving up their own comfort, dedicating themselves for hours and hours on teaching you the bests and safest techniques needed in this profession. If you do good, they will praise you, but if you don’t follow the rules and the instructions, they will correct you and if things gets tough for you that means you’re not doing what you supposed to do, but don’t blame them for that!! Be honest in that situation and see that they want you to perform well! There is not time or space for mediocrity!! Phoenix Team excel in their domain and some of the ‘gems’ I’ve found and really impressed me is their approach: very much gentlemen’s approach, respectful, tactful and tactical too! I'm rather a subjective person and don't take much pleasure in slandering folk or throwing a bias narrative on a situation. So instead I shall leave a detailed account of my interaction with Phoenix, and you yourselves can decide if you offer your money to this company or not. 1) Initial contact was made on 27/03/2021 and met by a polite employee who gave me an overview about the course and after 15 minutes I was happy to agree and sign up. Sales person processed a card transaction. I'd discussed with them some accessibility issues in regards to on going psychiatric care which they were more than happy to offer support for (Aspergers). However I had also mentioned that I had tried to get sectioned 2 days before (just fed up with not getting the correct help from the NHS, I'm not dangerous). but just imagine I was unstable. this company provides fire arms training, I was open about my psychiatric difficulties yet were still happy to sign me up to handle a fire arm..not great vetting if I'm brutally honest. 2) I called the following day to ask more information and validation about the fire arms training and the legalities around it. Their staff were polite enough to advise me that the fire arms aspect of the course will never entitle you to handle a fire arm due to laws and legislations different across the world. however if you know how to handle a small hand gun and your in a situation where you have to defend your client at least. you know what you're doing. Probably the only positive thing about these guys. They sign you up to a local gun range and its legitimate training. you just can never ever ever ever ever carry or use one. legaly. They were also very willing to offer any assistance require to accommodate my Aspergers. 3) By the 5th day I had still not received any information about the course, literature, anything about the hotel stay. you'd think for a company who spends so much money on their website and hiring celebrity clients (rumours on the grapevine) they could put together a decent brochure. Essentially all I got was a a document that spent 99% of the text explaining covid restrictions, with one sentence stating if you sign this document you agree to attend this course. a bit smoke screen and mirrors. Id sent a text saying Id like a refund. After having made several unsuccessful attempts at Communication (which their rep even admitted to missing my calls on text message and for £4000 id expect a better standard of service and response. I do not like having to chase for something that in my eyes, for such a sum of money should be delivered without hesitation, and something so basically as information on the course and the accomdation. Within moments I got an email detailing the hotel and accommodation. I do not believe in coincidences.When you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth... 4) They refused a refund, giving something about some contractual agreement. Under consumer rights laws there is no contract and the document they send you isn't worth the paper it's printed on. My dog with dimentia could write a better binding agreement (no offence to whoever wrote it). I personally wasn't happy with them solely based on the fact I had to chase for any literature and the defensive nature when asking for a refund. There appear to also be a lot of good reviews out there hence why I've afforded 3 stars. I can't comment on their course content. Their service was great up until the last moment.My. main issue was with the fact they were so resistant in returning my money. DO NOT BE FOOLED YOU ARE UNDER NO CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT. All I suggest is pay with your credit card. If you have a good experience great. If you decide to change your mind which you are legally and lawfully able to, don't let their stance on this intimidate you. Ive raised a dispute with my credit card company now. Other than that Tom and Rebecca were polite and accommodating, bar the reluctant to offer a refund.
