Nice carvery, the meat was nice as was the carvery. (My only comment is that it would be great to see garden peas as well as mushy peas. Have requested this before).🙂😊

Easy parking, great atmosphere and majority of staff great. Especially liked the walls with the library style books. I had heard that the food was good, but unfortunately it wasn't the day I went. The food (grilled chicken risotto special) arrived in a timely manner and was hot, the chicken was extremely dry and there was a tang to the risotto and sauce yet not enough to stop me eating it though I regretted it later. What got me was when I went to pay for my food and drinks the person that served me (who wasn't the happiest individual) immediately charged 10% extra as a tip. Normally, you are given the option to tip, yet this was automatically added without my permission. It may have just been an off day and it is unfair to judge a place by one visit, however I may need a bit of time before going back to retry things.

We visited on Mother’s Day with our elderly, frail parents. The staff who served us were so helpful ( sorry I didn’t get your name) The gentleman was so helpful taking my parents meal to them so I could get my own meal. So attentive to our needs . Thanks for making it an enjoyable visit
