Definitely one of the more disappointing Westminster Council Everyone Active gyms. It offers loads of activities and facilities, but it’s mostly run down. Machines in the gym take weeks to months to get fixed, despite repeated chasing. The gym gets extremely busy. Cleaning is very poor in the gym, pool and changing rooms. When they do clean the gym, they seem to only do it at peak times around 6pm on a weekday… Deep cleaning seemingly never takes place. Staff are completely disinterested. Positives are it’s in a good location and it’s decent value.

The gym was disgustingly dirty when I joined up, I complained several times and they said they would clean it and then never did so I tried to cancel my membership multiple times by filling out membership enquiry forms, within the required 14 day cooling off period. I also called the center multiple times but no one answered and I found out today that had removed me from their system but were still going to charge me for my membership so I ended up having to cancel my direct debit with them. They have really bad customer service and their facilities are dirty.

I am writing this review because the user experience has really deteriorated recently. I hope this will encourage management to take action and improve things. In summary, three areas need to get better. 1) Maintenance. Many areas are not taken care off, resulting in things getting broken and being out of service for long periods of time (i.e. months). Recent examples include the basketball gym, the wellness area, and the water fountains. 2) Standards of cleanliness in the swimming pool, the changing rooms and also in the basketball gym floor, which is always slippery. 3) Staff friendliness. This used to be a lovely local gym with very friendly staff, but some of that spirit has got lost. Although the majority of the staff continues to be nice and helpful, the number of staff members who are rude or just don't care is clearly growing

Love this local pool. It's reasonably priced and they offer different speeds of lane swimming. Some days are busier than others but you quickly learn when are the good times to go. Changing rooms for the pool are a bit basic and communal, but it's a public pool so this is expected. I am also a member of the MoreYoga studio. It is a seperate studio membership scheme that is separate to the Everyone Active membership plan. I think they hold back some places for those with gym memberships. I have not used the gym or the sauna here. The pool is popular for swimming lessons including for adults. I dont need lessons but I do take my own float and no one has ever had an issue with that. If it's helpful, there are no private showers. Overall, this is an easy going place that serves a range of the community. You need to bring your own padlock for the lockers.

My first impression of the swimming pool was quite good but it was quickly ruined by the amount of dust balls floating in the water and parents walking around freely by the poolside with outside shoes which is so bizzare I didn't believe it at first when I read the other reviews before coming and seeing it with my own eyes. No sauna included. Be mindful they only give you 45 mins if there's swimming lessons after so come earlier if you want to have a proper swim.
