Daisy Chain5 StarWas recommended this man by a friend.
Got my car fixed here twice and a relatives also. We were both very happy with the service and the repairs. Also thought the pricing was reasonable.
Would recommend.Wednesday 28th July 2021
David Rogan1 StarDo not use this man’s service. He quoted me £100 to repair a leak in boot (found out at collection the parts cost £11, so £89 for labour inclusive of vat). I arrive on site to collect my car and he claimed I owed him £150 because he’d taken it upon himself to have the car cleaned. I didn’t ask for this, didn’t consent to this and certainly didn’t consent to my car leaving his property for him to have it cleaned. When I explained this to Mr Finnegan in a calm manner, he immediately became aggressive, argumentative and irrational. He got into my car and aggressively told me I couldn’t have my car back, he then raised the back of the car up on a hoist (not sure if it is damaged or not) and then locked my car in his warehouse. Hours later and after police intervention and a lot aggravation I left with my car. I repeat, do not use this man’s service.Saturday 7th November 2020
Gavin Shipley1 StarI got a quote for repairing damage to my vehicle from this garage and booked it in for repair. It appeared to be fixed properly when I collected it but discovered it had not been some days later - there is a gap between the rear door and the door seal which is allowing water ingress - this is due to the rear panel not being returned to its original position. I returned to the repairer when I discovered this and was told it would cost an extra £200 if I wanted this fixed as it needs to go on a jig . At no stage was I told this was necessary before or during the repair nor when I collected the vehicle and paid for it. When I asked the reason for this I was told "a little knowledge is dangerous" for the customer to have.. The garage is refusing to rectify the botched repair without further payment. A most unsatisfactory experienceWednesday 4th March 2020
