Drinks are our passion and our speciality, especially cocktails! Behind our bar you’ll find some of the most creative mixologists around, with the skills to create the most impressively complex array of cocktails in town. Our dynamic menu takes inspiration from our cousins in the US with classic tipples you know and love like the NY Cosmo or the Long Island Ice tea nestled amongst our own tantalising inventions. Here at Riverbar, you’ll find authentic Southern American inspired BBQ soul food, tucked away on the banks of Washington. From the kitchen, you’ll find mouth-watering low n’ slow smoked ribs and meats, paired with classic sides like our own house slaw, Cajun wedges and BBQ beans. Slow cooked, messy food made with love and perfect for sharing.

Beautiful food as always, the tables are separated with perspex - our waitress was very helpful and attentive - we love to visit this place, the food is always so tasty!

We stumbled upon this place by accident as we were on a bike ride, having lived in the bournmoor area since December we were struggling to find anywhere modern and young, we passed the river bar on a Saturday afternoon around 3 pm and it was extremely busy so we went home and decided to return and take a look , I have to say it is extremely good there seems to be a mix of young and old people and the atmosphere was great the drinks prices are about average and they do serve food although we had already ate but looking at the menu it seems nice good bar food and they do two cocktails for £10 from 4 till 7 which is a great deal all in all a great find and we will return

Staff were really friendly, food was nice. The jelly bean cocktail (first picture) was lovely. £7.50. Cocktails not too badly priced would definitley go back for a drink.
