This company landscaped my garden 2 years ago. It included levelling of the ground, building retaining walls and a fire pit, putting in membrane and gravelling. The cost was 6.5K. Most of the work went smoothly although the completion date was late by 2 weeks and a few snags needed sorting and required revisits to complete the job in full. Overall, at that time, I was satisfied. However, just a year and a half later, a large number of the coping tiles on the retaining walls and ALL the seating paving of the fire pit are loose and in some cases off! If the work had been done properly this shouldn’t happen at all, let alone in just over a year. When I called Lee, approximately three and half months ago, to inform him about the loose coping, he became very defensive of his work, did not like that I had pointed out faults in the work and was reluctant to accept responsibility and return to fix the coping. After a difficult phone call, he then did accept responsibility and stated that ... "had the mixing and fixing been correct it shouldn’t have come loose," and agreed to personally come and secure the coping using a glue. After going back and forth for three and a half months, with so many phone calls ignored, Lee, finally committed to a date to return and fix the coping and seating paving. The appointment was fixed for Monday 23rd August 8-9am. I took the day off work, waited all day for his arrival and he didn’t show up. The appointment was rescheduled for Wednesday 25th. Not only has he not shown up for the rescheduled appointment on the 25th, to this date, I am yet to hear back from him. I’ve included a few photos of the loose coping and shifted seating paving in the fire pit.
