Ive used Shane and his cousins for a number of simple jobs, that other professional tradesman wouldn't do as it was mainly labour. Although he does try, (which is why we gave him a bit more business), in the long term we had to call in professionals to clear the mess, or we had to fix it ourselves. e.g, although we allowed him to drive hus truck on to our garden, when it rained and the grass became soft, he ended up leaving huge tyre dents across the garden, which I had to fix by soiling and returfing. The tree chippings he made completely covered the two spare chicken coops! It still does. We gave him a try and the benefit of the doubt many many times. But he just arrived with the same lazy attitude, arriving late morning and bunking off mid afternoon with us to clear his mess, as his version of a job well done.

Shane turns up usually around 10.30am with his cousin Vinnie and leaves around 3.30pm, which he calls a full day. Shane spends much of his time in his van on the phone leaving the work to Vinnie, who is a labourer with no particular skills. Hence the job is never completed and then they ALWAYS ask for more money to finish the job, or threaten to walk off site. Shane has no tools or equipment other than what he borrows from his Uncle and his Dad. He used mine mostly. Any digger or tree surgeon he hires in at your cost. He only cuts trees from the ground or using a ladder (which he leaves the customer to clear!). Shane never clears up his mess, work is shoddy at best. (e.g, the fencing posts they did was wonkey, and then they took a chainsaw to the tops to make them the same height!). They left our garden looking like a travellers site with our tools lying around, branches left for us to cut and clear, and their empty energy drink cans all over the place.

Shane and his team done a great job cutting down my tree and removing the stump. Very professional and friendly, service offered was on time and reliable. Would definitely recommend .
