My experience with the company was poor they did not come when said they would and although I kept ringing during office hours it was always a answer machine and nobody returned my calls. In the end I cancelled.

My boiler had stopped working and was overdue for a service. I phoned Brown,s because I had dealt with them before. I phoned at 9am and their engineer arrived,as promised, at 3pm .The service was excellent.

Called them on the Tuesday to ask for help with a new Gas Fire for my mother, they said someone would call back. Over a week later no call, called back again and they told me "Andy" had it but they were too busy?? Went elsewhere.

Very poor service. Schedule work, don't turn up and totally brushed off when you chase them up. Shame these people bother to advertise if they don't want work. Not professional at all. Perhaps someone needs to explain it's the little jobs they can't be bothered with that leads to the big jobs. Like me, I expect many people try businesses on small jobs before committing, Should have known better. My friend had similar experiences and even if you're lucky enough to have them say they'll do the job they never turned up. All day waiting, 3 calls and many promises and still no show. Customers are unimportant and must understand SR Brown call the shots and if they choose you get overlooked, even when they give you a date and time but try and plan it with them, forget it! Sorry who's paying?! Ah well suppose they won't be fitting my bathroom, plumbing my kitchen and renewing services to 2 of our properties. Too big to care about us little people.
