David Lee1 StarSolent Garden Services have recently been working alongside a property which was so severely impacted by the work they carried out that the young person living in the property attempted to take their own life.
I wholeheartedly agree that this company acted completely within the letter of the law and am making no suggestion that any illegal activity has taken place. However I believe that they could have acted far better from an ethical perspective.
I personally contacted the company to see if there was anything they could do at the start of the project, initially the property owner became aggressive to the young neighbour; the company then threatened me with libel action for informing them of the suicide attempt.
Property improvements are necessary and can be absolutely brilliant but it is incredibly sad when they were done in this case at such a cost.
I really hope that in future when neighbouring properties are impacted by their work this company consider how much their profits are really worth.Wednesday 19th August 2020
