We’re one of the most well-established nurseries in Speedwell, with a fantastic team of highly qualified nursery practitioners.

The Stepping Stones team hold enhanced DBS checks, safeguarding and first aid training, so you know your child is always safe in our care. We love meeting new parents and will be glad to answer any questions you might have about our nursery. So please do pop in to meet us!

Delicious healthy food

Our carefully planned menus are designed to make sure our children are nurtured with fresh food and a nutritionally balanced diet every day. 

Our menus run on a four-week cycle offering a different range of meals each week, so that your child has the varied diet required to help them develop their tastes and make healthy choices in the future.All our meat is locally sourced and Farm Assured. All our eggs are free range. We use seasonal vegetables where possible.

We serve delicious meals inspired by a variety of different cultures. As a result, our children get to discover an exciting range of tastes, smells and textures. By keeping our menus interesting we aim to teach our children that trying new food is exciting, not scary, and that healthy ingredients can be transformed into something amazing!

Working with you to provide the very best for your child

At Stepping Stones Day Nursery we’re firm believers in building strong relationships with parents and carers.  That way, we can all work together to give your child the best possible start at home and at nursery.  To facilitate this, we provide online learning journals, parents’ evenings and regular chats with your child’s key person.

We’re like a big family at our nursery, and we would absolutely love to welcome you and your child to be a part of it.
