Had food at the pub tonight with family who're staying in the hotel, we all had different things and they were all amazing!! The curries & the Indian starter were definitely the stars of the night though. Also the lovely staff member we had was on the bar and serving food and was fast and so lovely! Couldn't be happier

Booked this for a short break to visit family. Hotel and Bar staff all very welcoming and friendly, and very accommodating even with us having a 3 year old boy. Family room was spacious and clean, and bar/restaurant was easily accessible from different access points from the rooms, depending where you are located. Ceiling and door heights low in some places for people of "taller" proportions, such as myself 😂, but this comes with the character and age of the property. Restaurant menu was varied, and the food was lovely. Breakfast had a good selection of choices and should cater for most tastes. They were very helpful in ensuring that even my little boy could have something from a kids choice of menu. Would not hesitate to revisit and use as a base for travels. Thank you to the team at the hotel. Wish we could have stayed for longer ☺

Couldn't book a table as they said they had a party of 30 in and would only welcome 'locals' we were on the broads looking for an evening meal!! Found The Hanser and walked there (fab meal and pleasant walk). Passed the hotel on the way back to our boat and it was empty, kinda think they didn't want to cook on a Wed night early in the season.

Ate in what used to be a nice restaurant. Somebody decided to close half the restaurant and put in a pool table! DO NOT expect a quiet meal. Which by the way included undercooked batter on a tiny piece of haddock. Don't bother.
