The present owner is fantastic! He has saved my boots by totally re-soling and re-heeling them perfectly, giving them a longer lease of life, as they were expensive, so I am very happy :) Great service, reasonably priced and brilliant workmanship. I recommend using The Cobbler's Den.

Excellent service, had a couple of keys cut recently which were a bit notchy, replaced both free of charge with no quibble, a smile and an unnecessary apology. Happy to recommend people who still believe in great customer service and politeness.

two pairs of three year old "well past their best" gents shoes dropped in for repair . Both pairs refurbished professionally and good as new for another three years. highly recommended.

Wonderful service! My heel fell off my boot on my way to an appointment. The lovely chap repaired my boot on the spot and did the other one FREE! Will be back with all my shoe repairs for life, thank you.

Visited the Cobbler's Den to get a replacement battery for my wife's watch. He asked us to leave it with him, so we returned about an hour later. When we got there he told us he couldn't get the back off the watch and that we'd have to go elsewhere, at which point he started to bad-mouth other places that changed batteries. After we left we looked at the watch and in his attempts to remove the back he'd badly scratched the rear and sides of the watch. So we took it to one of the places he advised against using and they had no problem removing the back. No idea what he's like at work on shoes, or cutting keys, but I certainly won't be using him for watch batteries in the future.
