Welcome to Newcastle Upon Tyne’s original bike café and workshop, serving up the tastiest coffee, cakes and cycling expertise since 2012. Born out of a love for bikes, we’re one caring community built on enthusiasm, friendship and fun. Whether you’re an avid cyclist, or a non-cyclist, our space is for everyone - so pop down and say hello!

We are serving a full menu of freshly made sandwiches, freshly baked sausage rolls (vegan option) from Zoccolans Baked Goods, an amazing selection of cakes from the Cake Stories bakery and every day we’re cooking up a storm with our famous Bacon Butties. If Iced lollies are your thing, call in for a Magnum or a Solero – we stock the Walls range of lollies. We also have tonnes of cold drinks to quench your thirst and of course we offer fabulous coffee every day of the week from 8.30am - 4pm weekdays and 8.30am - 4.30pm weekends.

The great thing to come out of Covid is the Kitchen Takeaway Hatch. On busy weekends we will open up the hatch to ensure you don’t have to wait in a long queue if you’re hoping to ‘grab and go’.

First time visitor to The Cycle Club. Staff are lovely and friendly. Good variety of food and drinks. Outdoor seating some covered. The view of the Tyne down to The Baltic, Millennium Bridge and Tyne Bridge are amazing. Large car park and only 40p per hour. So we parked there for the day and wandered around the Quayside and Ouseburn Valley, The Cluny and The Cumberland Arms. Thoroughly recommended

One of the friendliest cafes I've been too. Lush selection of food and drink. Blankets if you want to sit outside. We had a great walk and stopped off for sandwiches and hot drinks here. Loved it.

Great selection of cakes etc. We just had a cake and coffee so can't comment on the rest of the menu. Lovely flapjack and my husband had a brownie which he said was great. Big car park which used to be free but is now still only 40p/hour and can pay by phone. Good spot to walk along the quayside.

Lovely little spot along the quayside away from the hustle and bustle of the busier end where you can enjoy a nice peaceful cuppa with the stunning views of the bridges in the not so far off distance. Unreal view, canny staff, cute vibes. Plenty indoor and outdoor seating.

A very nice cafe with great views down the Tyne, they have a good menu with choice of salads, sandwiches and sweets. We only had a chance for drinks, my Cappuccino was really nice although I wasn't sure why there was an extra charge, my good lady enjoyed her americano and the boy seemed to enjoy his sanpelagano blood orange. You can hire bikes and it looks like they also did servicing too.
