Good food and nice people. Lots of little touches like a roll of colouring paper to tear off for the kids. My husbands starter of creamy mozzarella with aubergine frites and pesto hummus was really top notch.

Lovely welcome.the landlady was very nice and the real ale MUDDY DUCK was in excellent Condition. I highly recommend. The food looked really good, I didn't eat on this visit .But will do next time.

Lovely venue. Amazing food. Very friendly staff. Added pics of my main and children's brownie/Icecream. Definitely worth the extra pennies.

Wonderful, welcoming establishment. Just a stones-throw from the railway station (request stop only - beware!), excellent selection of Ale on the bar, kept in good condition. Friendly landlady, and very pleasant surroundings. Didn't have time to sample the food, though the menu looks interesting: hopefully, next time I'm down this way.

Met some friends for lunch and drinks. Lovely attentive staff and a very nice feeling both at the bar and in the restaurant. However some of the food was amazing and so tasty but not all, the squid was over cooked and the fish course was under seasoned, not a big issue overall but consistency in a restaurant to me is very important. Would go back but wouldn't go out of my way.
