Welcome to The Falcon Inn

The Falcon Inn is situated at the heart of Canning Circus.

It has been refurbished in its original style as a cosy, traditional Victorian pub offering a welcoming atmosphere where people can meet up and socialise over a quiet drink, and sometimes party the night away.

We usually have 5 or 6 real ales from local and regional breweries plus a couple of ciders. We also have an excellent range of wines which are supplied by Weavers of Nottingham. We have a fine selection of malt whiskies, and our staff are happy to make a selection of cocktails for you.

Sunday Lunches are served in the bar and in the Upstairs restaurant, which is also available for private hire, Dinner Parties, Wine Tastings, Pudding Club Meetings, Celebration Parties and Business Meetings.

Sunday Lunches – served from 12 noon until 4pm. Please book by 10:00pm on Friday.

Lamb Shank, Yorkshire Pudding, Roast Potatoes, at least 3 Veg and Gravy - £13.00

Roast Chicken, Stuffing, Roast Potatoes, at least 3 Veg and Gravy - £12.50

Pork Loin Chop, Stuffing, Roast Potatoes, at least 3 Veg and Gravy - £12.50

Vegetarian - Homemade Bean Roast (Other options available including Pescatarian given sufficient notice), Roast Potatoes, at least 3 Veg and Veg Gravy - £11.50.

Mashed Potato available with all lunch options as long as it is booked in advance.

Visited for the first time last week. A lovely little pub full of beautiful historic photos and quirky characteristics, really felt like a step back in time. There are a few tables outside the front of the pub, which is a really nice spot just to chill and drink. Also to add friendly bartender (possibly owner) and great prices, definitely worth a visit!

Great pub, traditional type of place serving excellent real ales, decent food, Sunday roasts etc. The owner clearly takes pride in the quality of the beer and was very knowledgeable.

First time back at The Falcon since lock down. Brilliant little boozer with a warm welcome and a friendly staff. The landlord even dried off the outside seats for us after a sudden shower - brilliant ! Good selection of beers, ciders (including lilley's mango when we were there!), lagers and spirits. Cosy 'traditional' interior with fabulous photos of Canning Circus in years gone by - we are always amazed by these pictures.... Real fires in the winter too. Give it a go, it's a proper pub for proper folk!
