I had a pretty good experience - I would like to have awarded 3.5 stars! I telephoned to place an order for a candle holder in Feb 2018 and left a message. No one called me back. I then phoned again and was able to place an order and my candle holder arrived within a couple of days. It is absolutely beautiful. However, I did not receive a receipt/invoice, which I needed as I was buying for my church.

Do not order from this company. I foolishly paid upfront and nearly nine months and countless phone calls later I have neither product or refund. Polite on the phone but will not honour their word. They should cease 'trading' immediately as it appears they are simply taking money currently with no product to sell.

Unfortunately I did not see the previous reviews before using this company. In my case they have failed to refund money paid by credit card for returned faulty goods. Despite promises made when I do get through on the phone, nothing ever happens. They should cease trading immediately.

Sweet people but sadly slow & disorganised. I ordered a fire-basket, ashpan and log turner in April and paid up front. By June I had heard nothing and had to ring up to chase the order. In July the fire-basket turned up. This morning, mid-August, I am still chasing the rest of the order. Whenever I call they are unfailingly polite and seem keen to help but emails never get answered and the fact that I paid for this order months ago doesn't seem to bother them in the slightest. No apology, no email, no call, no indication when I might get my stuff. I make some allowance for a family business being eccentric but this is just taking the mickey.

I too placed an order with this company in early August this year. They had my money upfront, they do not respond to emails and did not answer their phone today. They also trade under the name Wessex Forge, same address and phone number, and that has never filed any company accounts. I left an answer phone message but will be surprised if I get a response.
