The Lawrence

The Lawrence offers support for adults with a range of learning disabilities. We aim to provide a safe and homely environment, where all individuals can make their own choices about the support they receive. We focus on providing support that maximises each individual's potential, with regards to physical, intellectual, emotional and social capacity.

Our approach to support

Each individual designs their own Person Centred Plan, which is tailored to suit personal needs and provide the correct level of support required. We encourage and support everyone at The Lawrence to identify their goals and ambitions and how they would like to go about meeting them.

The Lawrence promotes Priory Adult Care’s communication strategy, "Your Voice", which encourages individuals, based on their preferred method of communication, to voice their views about the support they receive. Monthly meetings are held where individuals are able to represent the views and voices of others living at the service.
