Otto provided an exceptional service installing a new immobiliser in my Land Rover and provided follow up support and advice over the years via text when upgrading and changing my mobile phone.
Otto came out to my home at short notice to diagnose and replace a third party immobiliser that came with my car when I purchased it. He found the device hidden away, ripped it out and quickly had it replaced with a much more modern and sensible setup.
The StarLine immobiliser fitted has been really simple to use, in particular because it is paired to my phone so requires zero effort on my part. Furthermore service mode can be enabled from the phone when I book my car in for service and repairs, keeping the push button unlock code private.

I called Otto (it was a weekend!) and he kindly instructed me over the phone how to get my car back up and running. It took us almost an hour. He did that free of charge! Ket Chong3 StarI want to share my experience with others who are thinking of fitting a ghost alarm or have problems with it. Also relevant is the quoted cost of fitting a dashcam . I purchased a used BMW M4 on the 25 Nov from a Midlands dealer and had problems with the car alarm going off day or night after a week or so. I was told it was a Ghost alarm with codes but no other details were given to me . No info on where or who fitted it . The codes seemed to work and start the car but when the ignition was switched off it would play up whenever a loud sounding car passed by. I thought it might be the sensitivity setting but the siren and flashes were BMW factory settings , so highly unlikely . I tolerated the annoyance fir a couple of weeks but in the end l had to have the faulty alarm fixed. On Google , London Car Alarm co came up . The reviews seemed good , so l rang and Otto is the guy who does the job. Do note that this is a mobile fitting service, there are no shop premises involved at all. Both telephone numbers go to mobile phone. That was the week before Christmas and in desperation , I agreed to the price quoted £195. He came and after 1 hour the fault seemed to to be fixed . All fault codes on the car ECU were erased and l asked for a different security code which is working. Mind you, the reprogramming of the Ghost 2 alarm was nearly 50% of the cost of a new Ghost2 .After a few days, l contacted Otto again because l bought a new Nextbase 622GW on eBay a week earlier and asked for a quote to Hotwire it to my car battery . The quotation given £195 call out charge again? plus £65 for the wiring was more than the price l paid for my new Nextbase 622GW ! To me , Halfords would do that for £50 and maybe a bit more. What an extortionate price for a repeat customer ! I would not be using him again if l can help it. I fixed my dashcam myself for the price a roll of T-Rex strong tape to my lighter socket . What a character ! I have not got the wrong person, Otto your 2 telephone numbers are the same as what I rang you on your website and my place is in Uxbridge , MiddlesexMonday 23rd January 2023
