Have been here tonight with my son & grandson food was amazing as always my son & grandson hadn’t been before thought it was the best they had had for a long time better than any of these big fancy restaurants it was hot and plenty of it cooked to our liking service and atmosphere impeccable warm cosy room with log burner & great music will be back soon 😁👍🏻

Really nice pub, quite small but there are two rooms available to sit in and also seating on the (small) car park and a small beer garden at the back with children's play equipment. The pub is nicely decorated with pictures of the pub and the local area hanging on the walls, and has a nice, pleasant welcoming atmosphere. The menu is good and prices are reasonable, we were there for drinks after a funeral, so food was provided, the buffet was well presented and fresh. The drinks were nice although it was a little disappointing that there was no ice or lemon/lime to go in my Coke, but it was cold and refreshing. It's on a very busy road, half way up a very steep hill and parking is quite difficult which is a shame, but we do still intend to go there one evening and have a meal. I will edit then to say what the meal was like. I would certainly go there again for a drink and a meal.

Stopped here for lunch today and trust me we were not disappointed. Quality food and brilliant prices. You cab get everything from a hot pork sandwich to steak and chips with everything in-between. Also there's a children's menu plus a lite bite. We've even booked for Sunday lunch. Thoroughly recommend a visit

We come here regular with family and my 2yr old twins for a meal and the food is amazing. Twinies clean their plates. Staff are friendly and are always happy to help. Everything is cooked perfectly.
