Driven by a lifelong love for seafood, The Oyster Shell is a family business through and through, run day-to-day by Dan Rosser along with parents Lisa and Garry. The trio brings 30 years’ industry experience to their fish and chip shop, which serves up restaurant-quality food to takeaway.

M.5 StarGreat fish & chips. I live in London so my expectations for food is high! The bread was INCREDIBLE. The service was so kind and amazing. They let us bring in our new puppy, provided water for him. Super accommodating. Kelly at the front desk was great. Definitely would go back again when I return to Bath!Thursday 10th February 2022

Morgan Veitch5 StarEasily some of the best fish and chips I've ever had, their tarter sauce is also excellent and definitely worth the extra cost. On the higher end of what you'd expect to pay for fish and chips but definitely worth it as a treat every now and then. Pleasant staff and you can see everything being made while you wait. Wait times are also very reasonable, from ordering it only took ten minutes to prepare. I will be returning to try the scampi soon!Friday 14th October 2022
Lauren Millington5 StarI really like this place - the fish tastes fresh, batter is delicious and the chips are great and the vegetarian options... Well they exist which is something! It's not cheap but we've found it consistently good, and that's worth the price. Staff always friendly and efficient. My only genuine complaint is that they're not open on Sundays 😢Sunday 18th September 2022
