Went in not knowing what to expect and to be honest not very busy, but what a lovely pub with excellent staff and so friendly. One of the owners told us how passionate he was with taking the place on with someone else, lovely and relaxing restaurant and the food was just perfect and served with hardly any waiting time. Nice bar, outside garden and people who have a passion to make this work. Please try and visit for some super service and food you will love..also good choice of drinks

Me and my girlfriend love this place, food has always been amazing!! Staff are friendly and welcoming. I always recommend this place whenever someone asks me where to eat.

Absolutely fab find , delicious homemade food I had steak n kidney pie 🥧 beautiful, lots of meat very tasty and pastry was short 😋.. Landlord and staff extremely friendly and welcoming and decorated for Christmas stylish and bright 🌞, recommended to anyone , apparently Sunday dinner yummy too and big free function room , quiz nights too , good parking and near Alton towers ,

Called by chance on a Sunday lunchtime we had a warm welcome and the dinner we ordered was ok the surroundings were welcoming but there's something just not right not sure what, I think it was how the dinner was served to pre-set everyone had the same amount of meat something just needs looking at.
