I decided to try The Secret Salon after seeing my friend's amazing hair and asked her who her hairdresser was. Having moved to Leicester from London I was looking for a regular hairdresser and I am so glad Sangita was recommended to me. She always listens to the kind of style I want without shattering my expectations as her feed back is real. I usually entrust Sangita to do what she feels is best suited to me and she never disappoints. I used to always have a cut and blowdry but now I've added colour treatments, and again she is always realistic about what would suit. I would highly recommend Sangita and The Secret Salon to anyone and in fact I already have because quite frankly she knows what she's doing... and the cleanliness and hygiene is on point. Please note that opening hours are from 10am until 5pm Monday to Saturday. From 5pm until 8pm on Wednesday and 10am until 5pm on Sunday, we operate an appointment only policy. This is to accommodate those who require a longer appointment i.e. a colour correction. All prices start from and is calculated at the time of consultation. All chemical treatments require a skin test at least 48 hours prior to the appointment booked. All colour prices do not include a cut or blow dry and will need to be added on unless otherwise stated. Therefore it is advised to book in for a complimentary consultation before booking.

Absolutely love this salon and the owner/my hairdresser Sangita! Hair cuts are always great, colour always amazing and she listens to what I want. She always gives sound advice with regards to hair care which I appreciate as bleached hair can be difficult to look after. Lovely decor inside the salon too!

The Secret Salon is a great place and one I would highly recommend. Sangita is very professional and calm and talks through what you want doing and how that will look. She is flexible with appointments which is always helpful with life being busy. The atmosphere is always nice and its very safe. I love going there to get my haircut and have recommended to a number of friends to use the salon. Cant wait for my next hair cut.

I have been coming here since it opened, I highly recommend Shobna she has been my hairdresser for years! And even at the old shop! I wouldn't choose anyone else to do my hair! I wanted something different this time round, and Shobna certainly didnt disappoint me, I love it! Will still be coming here for many years to come! Would highly recommend this place!

I have used this salon on 2 occasions, the first time I was happy with it. Second time, the colour done was fine but as the time went on it went lighter which I did not like. It was within 10 days and I called Sangeeta and she said she would only able to fix if it was within 7 days. As it had been 10 days, she did not fix to colour a bit darker even though I explained I was out of Leicester. This was fine and I understood, but I felt she could have fixed it as I would’ve been a regular customer. Recently, I messaged her to ask about what products she used on my hair. She kept on mentioning no one has asked her this question before which I found rude and irrelevant. If it was private, she could mention she cannot reveal the information. I do not recommend this salon and will be visiting another salon in future. I found the customer service appaling and rude. It seems like the owner is fine as long as you do not complain about anything and just pay them and be happy about the results which cannot be the case every time. Not willing to accommodate at all.
