We stopped off for a very late lunch/early dinner after a long hike on our way home and were made to feel very welcome. Their burgers are handmade and well garnished with both chips and salad. We had a mix up with who wanted Stilton and who didn't but they fixed it immediately so overall a very good experience. Thank you we will be back again next time we're in the area!Monday 28th February 2022
Marilyn Wall5 StarFirst visit and it was really good. Looks great inside and out. The food was amazing and I couldn't fault any of the three courses we had (think I ate too much really but it was so good).
Staff were really friendly and helpful,they checked on us many times throughout the evening. Fiona(the gaffa as my husband called her) being one of them maybe more gravy on the steak pie would have been good but if you don't ask you don't get.

Marcus Schuler5 StarWe had stopped for lunch on our way through to Cornwall. Super friendly and warm service. Delicious food in a rustic atmosphere. We had two dishes from the lunch menu and a pizza. It was certainly not a mistake to have lunch here.Thursday 28th July 2022

If you want good food and good staff this is the pub to visit, you can’t go wrong.

Vikki Killock5 StarAmazing all round. Wonderful service lush quaint decor and such attentive service. Amazing quirky things like a cute help yourself personal refreshments in the toilets.
