The engineers were all clean and respected that they were working near a food environment. They were polite, welcoming and very good at explaining the alarm. Along with 3 of our neighbours we had an alarm fitted by TI about 10-11 years ago. Recently had them out to service the alarm (very polite, likeable technicians) but they said the external sounder needed a new battery. They came out again a few weeks later to say - sorry, sounder is unserviceable and needs replacing.No issue there I thought - it's 10 years old, fit a new one. No - they say the new sounder would not be compatible with the internal detectors and the the control system. I'd have to order a new system in it's entirety. The quote was £900 odd so it's not going to break the bank but I asked if they gave any assurances that I wouldn't face the same situation in a few years when the system was outside of warranty i.e. a single part failure makes the entire system useless. Their answer was "no" - if there is a similar fault they'd have to replace the entire system.So - if you want to install entirely new systems on a routine basis then this is the company for you. If you'd rather have a reliable system that doesn't have in built obselence then I'd advise to go elsewhere.Incidentally, their maintenance manager said the system wasn't obsolete as the external box still acted as a deterrent (I pointed out that you can get an empty box from B&Q for £20) and the internal sounder still operated (I pointed out that it's not much help if the neighbours can't hear it). As it stands my property is effected greater protection by very solid doors, a ring door camera and two very large dogs. All of these are more reliable than a TI system. Fantastic team of engineers who are very helpful and knowledgeable. Prompt response and service. We had issues with our alarm system and needed an upgrade. It was dealt with very professionally and quick turnaround time too. Also, to mention the installation engineer Jack, who came out to carryout the work was fantastic and he did a good job. We have used the service for so many years now, especially the out of office emergency call out is spot on. TI Security installed our alarm system at our new office premises. We were given a demonstration and instructions of how to use the alarm system which was easy to follow and all made sense. Phil had to call back out to us to tweak the set up, and he was able to do this quickly and explained everything thoroughly. We arranged for TI to come & repair a couple of Fire sensors & check the whole system as well as service the house alarm in my Father in Laws house. Phil arrived bang on time & spent several hours carrying out the works. He provided a thoroughly proffessional job explaining things throughout & was more than happy to explain the systems. He certainly went the extra mile & would highly recommend both company & employee Phil. We had a TI installed alarm from the previous owners and it had developed a minor fault. TI sent a salesman around rather than an engineer. TI sent on a HUGE quote without lifting a screwdriver or a lid. I challenged the sales guy a couple of times. I am not an alarm fitter but I am a bit of a nerd so I could tell that he was trying to pull the wool over my eyes… especially when I challenged him and he said “we would be unable to do this as it wouldn’t comply with the regulations”…. What regulations? A quick call into the manufacturer confirmed I wasn’t oversimplifying things. I ended up with a warrantied, modernised system for less than a fifth of the price quoted by TI. If you have a technical fault then please liaise with someone technical to price up the work. I have no problems working with sales folk… in fact this chap was very nice… However there are domain experts out there for a reason. A screwdriver, a camera phone and a quick call to the manufacturer clears this up in minutes! from start to finish the office staff to the engineer who fixed the alarm ,friendly, helpful and I knew what I was paying for and how much I'll be using them again in the near future when I redecorate the hallway and renew the box and sensors x thanks ti We moved into a new home with a TI alarm which needed upgrading and we had a brilliant service from start to finish. Luke was the engineer who did all the work on the alarm system and he was professional, efficient, helpful and very friendly. I highly recommend TI! Luke from TI came around today and was absolutely brilliant. We'd just moved home, didn't know the alarm code or whether it was even working. He sorted it out, installed a new battery and sensors and changed the code within an hr and a half. Super friendly and wonderfully professional. We've been using TI Security for some years - the system is simple and easy to use, their admin efficient and their engineers are always experienced, knowledgeable and professional. Engineer Chris C who came today was good company too! Would certainly recommend them. Have used TI Security for many years (both installation and service of a number of security systems) and they've been great throughout. Thanks to Luke for his friendly and courteous service last week, and for taking the relevant social-distancing measures whilst on site. We had an alarm fitted by TI Security about 14 years ago and have had no issues with it over this time. We replaced the battery over Christmas which left the control panel asking for a restore. We contacted TI who very kindly talked us through the restore and reset our alarm in minutes without the need for an Engineers visit which was fantastic. A very helpful company, my parents also had an alarm system fitted around the same time as us and they have never had any problems either. Would highly recommend. Adam came last Thursday to check my alarm system. I was impressed he checked everything unfortunately I had to have a new panel. Adam cam back on Monday to install it. He did a excellent job. Very pleased with the service. I'll recommend people to use your services. Thankyou Chris Clarkson attended my commercial property on Friday to fix a faulty alarm, which I was originally quoted £900 to replace as a new system was apparently needed by a different company. The original system was fixed for a fraction of the price by TI, and a new system was definitely not needed. Top class service and would 100% recommended. Thank you very much! I had a visit from Adam yesterday, to service my system (which he did very efficiently and politely) and I had also booked in extra time for him to look at my external camera system which was just NOT marrying up with my Virgin wifi system. To say Adam was thorough is an understatment - he was like a mini detective agency -or- a dog with a bone! He touched, checked tested, made calls, went on his lap top, investigated, asked for help from a colleague, and all through the 3 hours, was polite, cheerful, friendly and efficient. What a dream of an employee. I think he was as happy as we were when it finally call came together and the system, which had been dodgy for 2 years, simply worked! I have tested it several times since, not actually believing it is all going - and yes it is. We are delighted and very grateful for such good service and mostly because someone took the time, energy and patience to see just what the problem was. So thank you Adam - a very happy costumer. Having been a customer with TI security for 18 years l cannot faulty the service they offer. It’s professional and customer focused. The service engineers that come are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Today Chris serviced the alarm he’s professional, very friendly and respectful of your home. My alarm started to have a mind of its own at the weekend. I phoned TI at 8:00am Monday and by 11:30 Adam had arrived to solve the problem.Within a very short time we had new parts fitted the problem solved and all is well.Thanks TI and Adam for your brilliant service when I really needed you. I can’t rate Ti security highly enough. Luke Doherty arrived within 1hour of me calling and was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and clean. He was able to quickly establish the problem with our alarm and remedy it, giving us really helpful advice for the future in a way which my non technical mind could inderstand!
