Firewatch is a Technology solution to monitor the serious issue of potential fires breaking out and rapidly expanding.

Firewatch uses state of the Art Thermal Radiometry cameras that can measure Heat and Temperature in a number of ways, Heat Rise and Heat spread to name two. This forms part of a standard IP CCTV system.

If the cameras “see” an event that constitutes a potential fire situation then they will generate an alarm to a Control Room who will quickly surveil and assess the situation and take the necessary action. Some fires such as Ethanol are not visible to the naked eye but can be seen by Thermal Radiometry cameras.
