An absolute joke of a company, they attended on behalf of David Wilson homes and refused to acknowledge there is an issue with the plumbing under the sink which is leaking in 2 places. They have tried to blame this on a plumber who fitted my washing machine, but this issue was present BEFORE that was even installed and is due to rubbish pipework which was poorly installed when the house was built. THEY WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THERE IS AND THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON RESPONSE TO ANYONE IN A DAVID WILSON HOME!

My husband called Turnpike Plumbing today to attend a leak on a central heating boiler at our new home in Barns Green and Turnpike are the nominated contact point for Berkeley Homes, our builder, 1st impressions were good, but they rang back to say our warranty was invalid because the boiler should have been serviced after the 1st 12 months and we were 6 weeks outside this period, ok but the leak is from the supplementary electric heater coil seal, this is behind the sprayed on foam and likely a manufacturing defect. If the boiler had been serviced its hardly likely that the engineer would strip away the sealed foam jacket!! So having spoke with NHBC/British Gas it turns out that provided a boiler is serviced within 3 months of the anniversary of the 1st year, then the warranty remains valid in any event. The customer care provided by Turnpike fell well below the standard i would expect from a sub contractor of Berkeley, had the individual i spoke to simply said "Look lets get out and find out what the problem is and stop the leak (which is now into the down stairs hall) and if it turns out to be something that might have been picked up on a routine service then we may have to charge you, i would have accepted that, but hiding behind a warranty out by 1 month and 12 days and when i asked how i progress this to be told to ring a plumber ( I though they were plumbers?) is unacceptable. Perhaps we were unlucky with the individual we spoke t? Meanwhile Berkeley customer service has been exemplary

DO NOT USE EVER. I would give a no star review if I could. Currently living in a 4 year old house they plumbed. I've needed a new radiator, entirely new cistern inerds, boiler broken down 4 times, hot water tank thermostat broken, hot water expansion tank broken, high flow rate inlet control set incorectly installed, discharge pipe from acetal tundish incorrect diameter and loft sewage vent breather filter not installed meaning I have severe condensation and damp issues in my loft. Never use these people ever.

Do the plumbing for David Wilson Homes and they are HOPELESS!! How they are allowed to stay in business is beyond me. Avoid using them at all costs.
