This man is honest and hardworking. I had a nasty-to-find problem on my 30-year-old Volvo and he spent a lot of time finding it and putting it right - and then charged me a fraction of the time he'd spent. This was my first visit to this garage and I only went there because it is local and it says 'Volvo specialist' outside it, although it is not an official Volvo garage. He knew it was a difficult job when he took it on; I can find my way around an engine but this was beyond me, but he took his time in working out exactly what it was by driving it frequently and testing it. It turned out to be electrical, (could have been a fuel problem but wasn't), not the easiest problems to nail, but he was thoroughly professional and was determined to see the job through to the end. This man is a mechanic, not someone who just plugs in the computer and changes a part. He is also fair, and a nice guy to boot. Definitely recommended - a real find in a rip-off car world; much cheaper than main dealer, and one-to-one contact with the man that does the work.
