Nice little coffee inside an historical tower in York. There is a little terrace on the top. You can grab a small cake an a coffee and enjoy the panoramic views. There aren't savoury items and the selection of cakes is minimal but the place is worth a visit.

The gentleman who runs the business could teach a lot of folk about customer service. We arrived at the laundry in the morning and left our washing with him and set off for the town centre. By lunchtime we were phoned by him and he delivered the clean and folded laundry to us in town. No complaints and just a positive experience.

Outstanding and friendly service from a family run business. We were staying at the Novotel in York just before Christmas and needed our son's car seat cleaned so we could use the car during our stay without it being wet or smelling. We were recommended Walmgate Launderette by the hotel and I was over the moon with the service the owner provided. He was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our car seat was fresh and dry within a matter of hours; he even offered to drop it off to the hotel which is such a lovely touch. When we collected it, we got talking and he recommended some wonderful places to visit in York. The time and effort on customer satisfaction didn't go unnoticed and we will definitely use this launderette when we return to York in the near future. Thank you!

I was staying in a hotel in York for a fortnight and needed some laundry done over the weekend. Just as everyone else says -- friendly and efficient service, very eager to help, picked up on Saturday evening and delivered to the hotel Sunday evening. Recommended.
