Tom is one of the original Founders of Wayfairer. He is incredibly passionate about conservation in travel and allowing our customers to experience destinations more authentically. We have just return from a week long safari holiday in Kenya organised by Wayfairer Travel. This was a holiday of a lifetime and Wayfairer put together a wonderful itinerary for us. The advice they gave us was so helpful in deciding to go to Kenya and the lodges they recommended more than exceeded our high expectations. They are true specialists and their advice is second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and all our questions were answered in a prompt and friendly way. The pre departure pack was very in-depth and helpful. All the arrangements went to plan and we felt comfortable and well cared for the entire time we were away. It was also nice to know that Wayfairer are an ethical company and our holiday helped local people and wildlife conservation. This was our first holiday with Wayfairer but it certainly won’t be our last.

I planned my safari to Kenya through Wayfairer, from the beginning of planning the itenary with Jess and also once we booked the after service with June from concierge supporting us ,it was excellent. We loved the experience ,our safari camp was excellent and the hotel in watamu also.

We returned from 3 weeks in South Africa where Wayfairer Travel set up a fantastic, seamless trip with in-country flights, couriers, safari and tour guides, and elegant lodges with the best dining. We saw many marine and land species and learned basic manners in Zulu, Tsonga, and Xhosa. Thank you for going above and beyond.

Dear Toon/Kat/Wayfairer I don’t have words to describe this amazing experience on our trip to Kenya and the incredible job that Wayfairer did for us on a trip of a life time. I have a family of 5, so how do you start a trip to a place you know nothing about? From beginning to end Kat and Toon made this potentially scary experience into a very easy and smooth process. The closer it was getting the more excited we were getting. From the lodging to the food and the guides, everything was outstanding . Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart. We booked an 11 day adventure to Tanzania and Zanzibar with Wayfairer. It was our first ever time using a tour company and all we knew before booking is we wanted safari, to be very active and then have some beach time. I now want to use them for every holiday and would recommend to everyone! Maggie put together the dream itinerary based purely on what we told her we were interested in. We could not have planned such an amazing trip ourselves. The variety and logistics were perfectly thought out. All of our guides, accommodation and activities were perfect and both authentic and luxurious, with it clear that all places were locally run with good conditions for the amazing staff. Eleanor looked after us and made sure we had the best trip from the moment we booked, to while we were away and even when we get back.
