Hello, fans. We at Wings & Beer Co. are now 3 years old. Yes! That sports’ bar down Cannon Street.

Well firstly, can we and all the team say a big thank you for your custom. Thank you for helping us grow into what we are today. We have listened, learnt and continue to grow. The same mission from day one still stands – Passion!

There has always been a number of things we are passionate about. What we cook, serve and broadcast on our screens. We haven’t given up on using free-range chicken, Hereford beef or having our freshly baked bread delivered to site daily. We haven’t cashed in on the quality of the beers and real ales we serve. Still looking for trends and local brews to try out. We shop as local as we can with our suppliers & will continue to try to get it right. Always caring for different markets and trying to provide an alternative. From vegetarian and vegan dishes to gluten-free beers and food options.

Sport really does make our world go around. We will put every sport you can shake a stick at on if it’s on and you can enjoy this on 20 HD screens dotted around the bar and with sound. We have added more & more sport channel packages to ensure we look the part & mean business.

Passion means so much more to us than just chicken, beer & sport and we show this with the cocktail range, hot coffees and the selection of iconic soft drinks on offer. Covid-19 has also brought us some challenges but we’ve used this time to grow other parts of the business to ensure you the ‘fan’ experience a difference. A great wifi system installed (swear down), online ordering is now available from your table, a take out option ready to collect when you are ready AND a brand new table reservation system to make it easy to receive your confirmation immediately. You lucky lot!

So, three years done and another one ahead. We very much look forward to seeing you all again soon & will continue to put blood, sweat & tears into this place.

Does exactly what it says on the tin and much more. Had the burger with pulled pork and it was spot on. Got the ball park fries and have to say they could be a meal in themselves there is so much. Top class everyone, thanks again.

Edited: I did put this place at a 5 star(3 years ago from 2022). But recently they have been lacking in service of food and quality. The food is not what it used to be and actually forget food orders until nearly an hour and asking is not acceptable. Place needs to have a look at itself from being on of my personal favourites in Preston to now being fairly bad and would rather visit other establishments.

Amazing burgers, never disappoint to fill you up. I especially recommend trying the chorizo burger with a side of sweet potato fries 🍟

Pretty poor experience here tonight. Staff (one member in particular) very rude. Perhaps she was having a bad day but a smile costs nothing. I waited in line to order food and she walked off after serving the other people in front of me and served someone else without taking my order. We were a table of 7 people. I understand that food orders are prepared per order not as a whole table but I ordered five minutes after the rest of my party but my food had still not arrived 30 minutes after theirs had been served. In the end I cancelled my order and got a refund. Didn’t want to eat alone after the rest of my group had finished. I got some lame excuse from the bar staff, the upshot is the kitchen staff need to up their game. And bar staff; be friendly. We’re all looking forward to being out again. Just be nice. If not, then consider a career change. My food arrived in the end, they bagged it up for me and I got it for free. In the end I took it out and gave it to a homeless guy. At least someone had a good night. Plenty of other good bars in Preston, won’t be going back here in a hurry.

Don’t bother wasting your time or money here, if I had the option to give it 0 stars I would. This place used to be really good but it is so bad now. We ordered a drink and another customer was at the bar asking for a refund on his order because it arrived cold, says it all really. We went to watch the football and on 3 separate occasions asked if we could have the commentary on and got fobbed off with “ah we’ll check” if they had just said we aren’t putting it on for this game then fair enough, don’t just ignore us! The place is pretty dirty inside and the menu itself was dirty. The staff need to have some customer service training as it is really bad. The waitress came to collect our plates after we finished and didn’t even ask if everything was ok like you would normally expect, just “can I take your plates away?” in a miserable manner, even as we were leaving not one member of staff smiled and said thank you for coming, see you again soon or something along this lines. It’s pointless complaining/mentioning anything to any of the staff in there because you can tell they do not care. It’s a shame because it used to be good but it is just crud now. I’ll definitely be avoiding this place at all costs now.
