Came as a surprise to find a new memorial being built in the grounds of the Methodist church! As a member of the local community I am really surprised that something as important as this was not rolled out to the whole town .It's that important! Yet the plaques with all the names of our fallen continue to languish on the exterior wall of our ex town hall/entertainment venue.The walls of which are regularly urinated on . The memorial inside the town hall is fine as a reminder but now the remembrance day service has shifted point maybe it's time to move the plaques too to a more suitable place. Access to the memorial stone is not disabled friendly Does not show up as a War memorial besides all the other local ones Lest we forget
